“You complete me!”
A newly found sister shared with me that she has received direct messages from the Lord having observed the numbers 3:33. While I did not share this with her, I too have been mesmerized by this same number 3:33. I’ve pointed it out to my husband on different occasions.
So I decided to follow her lead and read the Scripture where the Lord led her.
While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the Word of the Lord came to him a second time: 2 “This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is His name:
Verse 3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
Some scholars identify the number 3 as Completeness; 3x3x3 = completeness to the third power.
How complete is the promise that when we call on Him, He answers? And can we take hold of the truth that He will reveal to us “unsearchable” things? To know Him who made the earth, the Lord who formed it, is to be complete!
Jesus YOU complete me!
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
1 John 5:14-15
As I walked outside to my back yard in order to pray for the prayer requests written on paper butterflies from the 2014 Women's conference I asked God to send me a live butterfly as confirmation that He is working on these requests. (His Word is our confirmation) I don't even know if its butterfly season. I went outside to pray and beautiful little birds flew by me chirping as if singing praises to God. For a second I thought, "well, that may do." the ducks were out on the pond and it was pleasing to my eyes. But, what an awesome confirmation when in less than a minute a butterfly flies right by my eyes. She dances from flower to flower beneath me and around me. she does not appear to be afraid of my presence. I praise God who continually humors me with His awesome presence. My God is real and He hears and answers prayers.
God changes caterpillars into butterflies, sand into pearls and coal into diamonds by using time and pressure. He is working on you too." - Rick Warren.
Star Fruit and Miracles
For two years my star fruit tree has not given me any fruit. This year in July I started praying over that tree. I spoke life into it and explained that if she did not bear fruit in 2014 I would cut her down.
Almost daily I walked outside to speak to her and pray over her.... I saw no fruit.
October was a very busy month so I did not go visit with my tree as often but when I did, there was no fruit.
I noticed in the supermarket that there was an abundance of this fruit for sale so I knew the season was ripe, but no fruit.
On Friday, October 31st I was in conversation with a good friend; we spoke of miracles that Christ has performed in our lives. I made the following statement "I need a miracle soon because I've not seen one in a while and I need it now."
On Sunday, November 2nd I went out to pray for both my sons who are experiencing great tribulation and I stood by my Star fruit tree... of course you know, the tree is full of star fruit just when I needed a miracle the most.
God's timing is perfect! In His time we will reap the fruit of our persistence in Him.
Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”
Diamonds are a girls best friend
"For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye
light in the Lord: walk as children of light." Ephesians 5:8
Diamonds are wonderful things. As women, we like them. Of course we do! They sparkle. They shine. They are valuable. No wonder they are called our best friend.
I lost a lot of weight this past year and for several years before that I couldn't wear my wedding ring. It wouldn't fit because I had gained so much weight in my fingers. Only in the last several months since I lost weight have I been wearing my diamond. I told my husband that it's just like I got it all over again and I really notice when it sparkles like I did when I first got married or something. I guess I'm just like a kid and enjoy that sparkle and the way the light hits it.
Diamonds are beautiful and when we are the Christian women God intended us to be, we can be beautiful too. We can sparkle and we can shine. Diamonds don't start out beautiful. They come from deep in the earth. It's just like when we come to Christ for salvation. We come from deep within the mirey clay of sin.
One of the characteristics of a diamond is its clarity. That involves whether there is the presence of any impurities or inclusions in the diamond. Depending on its visibility, the grade of a diamond will go up or down. As a Christian, any impurities in us will bring us down in grade as a Christian too. Others may not even see our impurities or our sins because it may not be visible with the naked eye, but remember that Christ can see our hearts. He knows what the scale of our clarity is.
Diamonds don't automatically shine and sparkle. Diamonds that are uncut are rough and aren't like the diamonds we wear in our jewelry. Only the cut diamonds sparkle. A diamond has to be cut by someone who is skilled in diamond cutting for it to sparkle and reflect light. Only the cut Christian woman can sparkle too. We as Christians have to be cut by our Master Designer in order to sparkle and reflect the light of Christ in the way that we should. An idea cut for a diamond causes all the light to be reflected back through the top of the diamond so that it reflects the maximum brilliance that it can.
When we allow Christ to mold us and to work in our lives and to cut the lines in us in the way that He as our Maker wants, then we reflect His light to the maximum in our lives. If we are living that way and allowing Christ to mold us, there are just some things that we will do if we are going to reflect Him in our lives.
